Actually right now it stands Popular vote Trump-76,774,608, Harris-74,246,010 so there is only around 2.5 million more votes for Trump than Harris. So not a landslide. Not like Nixon 1972 where he carried 49 states & 47,168,710 votes over McGovern's 29,173,222 votes #resist ! Being in SoCal, I expect to not really notice Trump all that much impacting my life. So less resist as much as ignore.

My bad. Donald Trump still won the popular vote and the Electoral College. He has a mandate. 2.5 million? Hardly a mandate. More strongly suggested. We are still counting votes. Mayor of Oceanside has pulled ahead 175 votes after only being 31 votes ahead last week, but there are still 20,000 ballots left to count. Part of the problem is the lack of ID at the poll is because the verification falls on the various registrar's offices so they have to verify the envelopes represent voters who didn't vote somewhere else. The emphasis here is to allow as many to vote as possible on election day knowing the verification comes at the various Registrar of Voters offices after.

I have lived here all my life except for 7 yrs as a teenager when my folks moved the family to Utah. Which is also the furthest east I have ever been.
