If it is for serious crimes that they have been convicted of I have no problem with it. The idea of turbocharging it sounds like lowering the bar. First, you need people.
Then, you need crimes that are serious enough to justify the stripping of citizenship and deportation vs regular prison.
Then there's the issue of governments returning people to situations they escaped from for political reasons or to escape violence. The government could be sending people to their death penalties.
Then there's the matter of their assets and properties left behind, not to mention families.
What do you consider serious enough? |
