A few years ago, there was a 'Day without Immigrants'. Did anyone notice it? I didn't notice anything different. The country seemed to stay afloat. Seems the Left had immigrants believing the US needed them and not vice versa.

One day isn't long enough to have much of an impact. That goes for a lot of things.
You can go a day without food pretty easily. That doesn't mean you don't need to eat.

1. Had immigrant family members and relatives
2. Had no issues with legal immigrants, only illegals

One day is obviously not enough to see the actual economic impacts. If you were to get rid of a bunch of immigrants (or any chunk of the labor force for that matter) for a long time, then yeah obviously that's gonna have negative consequences, because well you're getting rid of a huge chunk of your labor force. GDP would go down, that's just a fact.

Anyone who thinks Hispanic American citizens and legal immigrants are all going to be deported by the 10s of millions, leaving the US completely without Hispanic people is beyond a stupid pile of dung. |
