"Tell me something weird about yourself."
This works because:
1. It asks women to talk about themselves, which they love. 2. I guarantee they will never have heard this before, so it's new. 3. It gets them to think, so the immediate reaction is to cause a thought process, rather than them wanting to get rid of you. 4. It's a bit quirky, so gets interest. 5. It invites them to reciprocate with the same question once they have answered. 6. It's a good test - if they can't answer in an interesting way, move on, they're dull.

Hey, that's actually pretty good!
I like that it is, as you mentioned, very different. Women get sick and tired of hearing the same ol' chat up lines over and over, and it can often put us off, or we put our guard up and judge you preemptively.
I vote yes for this because it's quite clever.

"Would you do me a favour and hold my balls?" "Huh?"
Then hand her two ping pong balls and walk away.
She'll laugh and best of all, she has to follow you to give the balls back.

What if she told you something really, really weird?
I guess that is fine too, because at least you found out she was a psycho right off the bat and not two years into a relationship. Damn, good thinking.

It is designed to appeal to those with an imaginative, active mind.

What if her answer was that she had a fetish for really ugly guys??

What if her answer was that she had a fetish for really ugly guys?? I'd say "Well you're in luck, because at midnight - boom - I turn in Quasimodo." "You do, do you?" "Yes. I get a large protuberance on my shoulder. And a large protuberance somewhere else."

That's a little too personal in my opinion. Many wouldn't want to share something like that with a stranger as a get to know you thing.
