There was a time when the only black face in films was a servant or suchlike, when black folk didn't have any rights. Now films have to address the fact that America is a multi cultural society and people are more or less equal. For some people, yourself included this is seen as a "war on whites" but is in reality just addressing something that was very morally wrong. You can harken back to those good 'ol days when the "coloureds" knew there place but most people see the the change as positive. You are correct in that a change to include all people is a positive thing. But wouldn't the change be better served by looking to reflect it in present and future work? I don't see what changing faces on posters of the past will accomplish. It just draws attention to the fact of under representation that's all. Probably achieves nothing as you say. When you hear the OP going on about a "war on whites" it's pretty obvious where their sympathies lie though.

What do you expect from a group that comprises 13% of the population. I actually think blacks are overrepresented. In the US (yes I know this poster movement is in the UK) if anyone should be bitching about not being represented in entertainment its Asians, who are never in movies, TV series, promoted as music artists. But yes, my sympathies lie with white people.

It seems as though Hollywood is forcing the equality issue down our throats. It wouldn't surprise me if a transgender, transpecies black man who identifies as no sex replaced a male lead in a movie.

Actually the problem is rich people who think they can get away with anything. Case in point, a wealthy murderer who fled the U.S. and is using vast amounts of wealth to hop scotch around the world hiding out in different countries. www.foxnews.com/us/2018/03/11/new-york-college-student-found-dead-person-interest-fled-country-police-say.htmlBuilding a border wall or picking on black people isn't going to fix that problem or any other problem for that matter. The problem is rich people and the damage they are doing to society now that they are emboldened by the Trump admin antics.
