So, today I've been waiting for a locksmith to fix our doorlock, who told me he would be coming some time between 8 am - 12- am. He also told me he would call a few minutes before arrival. Now it's nearly 12 am and he still hasn't called.
A couple of years ago I had to stay home waiting for the delivery of a new oven. Then in the late afternoon I get a call telling me, that they won't be able to make it that day, because their delivery van broke down!
Sometimes I feel like modern life consists of nothing but waiting. I just hope things will go more smoothly in the afterlife!
