Who was the serial killer known as The Doodler.

Doodler was unidentified serial killer in opreation from early 1974 to late 1975 in San Fransico California area. This serial killer is strongly suspected to of killed took the lives of at lest 16 men Though offically only six murders wete link beyond a doubt to the Doodler.
The nickname Doodler was given due to the perpetrator's habit of drawing a likeness of his victims before to fatally stabbing them. He usually met his victims at gay nightclubs, bars and restaurants which lead investigators at the time to speculate he himself was LGBT+
The suspect was described as a African-American man between the ages of 19 - 25 years old He was described very tall at or over six feet in hight with a skinny body type. All the known victims were white and gay or speculated to of been LGBT in some way. Beacuase many of the men and those they knew were queer police questioning was hampered
Police questioned a young man as a murder suspect in the case, but could not proceed with criminal charges because the three surviving victims did not want to "out" themselfs (which given the time frame is understanable comeing out would of be both dangerous or deadly)
As of 2023 the case is open and an ongoing invistigation is under way. San Fransico police hope to use genetic genological technology to capture The Doodler if successful he would be in this late 60s or early 70s.
