It's a young people's thing. Not that you're not young, but only a young person thinks being packed like sardines and standing for 4 hours is fun.

I can't physically get to as many as I used to due to health reasons, but still try and make 1 every few months if possible, but I only like small venues with new bands to discover, always loathed big venues and festivals, the thrill of finding a great new band never goes away. The day I say "oh, there's no good bands any more", someone shoot me.

I have only attended one rock concert in my life. It was in 1970. I saw Steppenwolf, on tour to promote their current album so I had to wait until the end to hear “Born To Be Wild” and some of their earlier songs.
But My Lovely Wife and I frequently attend orchestral concerts and try to see a “Messiah” every holiday.
