As far as I'm aware, in his heydey, musician Alan Price rarely gave interviews beyond the odd quote.

Here's extended extracts from one he gave that was originally interspersed with live musical performances, from 1975 ...

I wonder if any other Animals ever spoke to him again after stitching them up on the "Rising Sun"_arrangement. I always tend to think of him as drunk and stumbling around Dylan's "Dont look Back" doc. The "Lucky Man " album had some decent tunes on it though.

I can't be swayed on 'O Lucky Man', it may just be my favourite British non-horror film of all time, but what's the news on the Animals?
I can't say I've followed Eric Burdon's career, not really my thing, though he's a bigtime belter like Adele and Joe Cocker. Actually, one band I've been listening to lately you may be a fan of as I read that they are London royalty who revelled on stage with the Pink Fairies and swallowed Gong's sloppy seconds (apparently), a spiritual rock feast known as Quintessence.
'... yoo gotta dive deep, deep deep dive, gotta dive dive deeper ... underground (dive, dive, deeper) ...'

I keep thinking Sting may have been influenced by the work of Alan Price.

I think Burden put an album out recently saying it will be his last, could be thinking of some other old bugger though.
