As long as it doesn't impact movie night, I have no fucks to give. And grocery delivery. If it's forecasted for one flake of snow in Pittsburgh, everyone is at Giant Eagle buying milk, bread, and toilet paper. I don't need those problems.

No websites were being blocked or slowed down, so this is a fake solution in search of a fake problem. Why are you happy about an unelected agency that censors TV and radio now controlling your internet? Jack personally checked every single Website in the internets and all 404 Errors where just ignored because there is no website!
It's super funny that conservative leaning americans support this, but at the same time scream about google, facebook, twitter and co censoring as breaking free speech laws because "THE INTERNET IS LIKE A PUBLIC PLACE". The single most biggest logical fallacy and clear hypocrisy in the history of the US and A I think.

Actually, all it took me was being an IT professional who realizes that internet connectivity REALLY IS a vital utility in modern applications. No different than phones. Try again dumbass. That has nothing to do with what I said. I know it has nothing to do with what you said dumbass. I was giving you the REAL reason we need Net Neutrality, not the canned thinking points your masters have provided you with.

Instead of answering, you ask a question unrelated to the answer.
But I'll bite anyway because I'm a reasonable guy.
That "unelected agency" isn't censoring providers by making them unable to throttle the bandwidth I paid for.
By paying for access to it, I want those lines open and neutral.
Why don't you?
The unelected, censorious agency known as the FCC has never shown that ISPs are slowing down websites. They have hijacked new powers over a problem that doesn't exist.
Furthermore, the FCC censors TV and radio, and Canada's CRTC (their version of the FCC) has laid out a framework to censor podcasts for our FCC to copy. imdb1.freeforums.net/thread/40829/justin-trudeau-wants-regulate-podcasts
There is simply nothing the FCC has presented that would justify this power grab.
They really do love their administrative bureaucracies, don't they? That is, until it falls into the hands of someone they didn't vote for. THEN it's downright dangerous!!

All it took you to support it was "We're from the government and we're here to help". ISPs are not slowing down websites, and the FCC wants to censor the internet a la Canada's CRTC. Actually, all it took me was being an IT professional who realizes that internet connectivity REALLY IS a vital utility in modern applications. No different than phones. Try again dumbass.
Why does South Korea have better internet at a fraction of the cost? With the Govt monitoring it this entire time?

I'm not exactly sure where you're going with this. I thought your kind were ALREADY complaining about the government monitoring your internet use. Since that part doesn't change regardless. Oh, and the answer to your question has to do with population distribution over a fraction of the area of the US.

I still have no idea whether this 'net neutrality' is a positive or a negative. It's worded like one of those retarded refrendums on a ballot so it could be the exact opposite of what people think it means.
But unelected douchnozzles calling the shots? When the elected ones are already bad enough?
Whether it's the radio, TV, internet or cell phones........there's a simple solution call an On/Off button
If the Govt truly wanted to help, it'd start out with the premise that EVERYBODY wants to be on the No Call List........and only by checking a box and agreeing to be harassed, would you ever get removed and invite the attention.

So how were you able to survive without NN for the last seven years? Why SHOULDN'T your data connectivity be treated no differently thsn your phone connectivity? That's the question your masters don't want you asking yourself...lol Discussing this with you is pointless. You don't actually understand the issue. You only know what you've been told to think.

It really is all you're capable of and shows you have NO IDEA what you're talking about. As someone who develops web apps for a friggen living, I know full well why data connectivity needs to be treated as a vital utility, no different than phones, water, or power. You, on thr other hand, don't have a clue and can only parrot talking points. Go on. Ask me again how no NN impacted me. It's all you're capable of...lol

Did you realize that Parler was able to keep its phone service, it's electricity, and it's water, but NOT it's internet? Chew on that one wonderbrain.

So how were you able to survive without NN for the last seven years? Internet service providers should be allowed to throttle traffic to any website/service so long as you're not personally affected or can "survive" that, is what you're saying?
