Whether you interact with them personally or not, online? And I don't mean finding information about them online to see what they're up to and/or what they're about. I mean, have you ever found them online in a compromising situation? It doesn't necessarily have to be a compromising situation, I guess. It could be any situation. Was it somebody who merely looked very much like them, or could you in fact say for sure it was them? Did you ever just let it go and just wonder, or did you endeavor to verify that it was in fact that person or that it was in fact not that person? If you did verify that it was in fact them or not them, how did you do so?  |

No, thank god.... I'm on some pretty shady sites. Would hate to have the image of someone I know ruined for me forever by seeing them there. :D

No, thank god.... I'm on some pretty shady sites. Would hate to have the image of someone I know ruined for me forever by seeing them there.  Well, I guess that depends on your perspective. |

I've found some childhood friends in mugshots. That's probably more realistic and likely and not as shocking or traumatizing. |

Yes!!!!! This happened about 15 years ago and we were going to a friend's house that we hadn't seen in a while. However, we had last their address so I looked them up online. I typed in the husband's name first and *BOOM!* his mugshot came right up. At first I thought it was someone else until I did a double-take. And my jaw dropped as I saw it was him....clear as day. The article said it was an altercation so the police were called and then he was subdued after reaching for the officer's weapon. I called my wife downstairs to take a look. Like me, she also scoffed at firs thinking it wasn't him. I told her..he just wasn't wearing glasses and he's put on some weight. Then she just stared for a moment as she also realized that it WAS him. This wasn't the biggest surprise as he had previously shown a temper and was borderline abusive to his dogs to the point they lost bladder control. It was a very uncomfortable situation to be in and I couldn't just beat the guy up in front of his wife and get myself arrested as a result.
Good news was.... we got his address. Bad news was... we really had a time that night with them at dinner pretending we didn't know the whole story.
Subsequently, he had a second mugshot to add to it only a few years later after they moved. This time, it was him illegally filling out a prescription.

I've found some childhood friends in mugshots. Me as well. I just listed my own story about it. Another one I had though was a middle-school bully I knew. I saw not only his mugshot (in addition to the other listed story).... but a video of his pepper spraying a cashier at a charity store ![[no]](http://storage.proboards.com/6870873/images/RccV0uLHhtCBRI0gG0lI.gif) .. third one he hit in 3 weeks. I looked up his rap sheet. He had been arrested for those thefts, for R, for assault on the elderly, etc. He turned out pretty much how I thought he would. |

Haha, that was intentional irony. I’m not really into anything too shady or kinky (certainly nothing illegal). Not really my thing but I’ve popped by Chatturbate out of curiosity (viewing only lol). Would be funny to see an acquaintance or coworker doin their thing there. |

Yeah. A friend of mine was moving and looking into areas she wanted to move to, so we were checking the sexual offender registry in the neighborhood she was looking at because she has a young daughter, and up popped a guy I went to high school with. Aggravated sexual assault with a 13 year old girl. I was shocked, he was a popular kid in high school.

Yeah. A friend of mine was moving and looking into areas she wanted to move to, so we were checking the sexual offender registry in the neighborhood she was looking at because she has a young daughter, and up popped a guy I went to high school with. Aggravated sexual assault with a 13 year old girl. I was shocked, he was a popular kid in high school. It is a bit unnerving when you look it up and see just how many of them live all around you. Didn't know the police watch a lot of them on Halloween locally. |

I found a few old friends on a video game type site that's now defunct. It was nothing juicy. All sports, movies, and game discussions. My one buddy had an irrational dislike of Donovan McNabb.
I have met people from the internet though. Just recently visited a friend I originally met online.
