If they do it right, it’ll have a ton of toppings and mozzarella inside, along with that ricotta which makes it authentic and hopefully yummy red sauce that’s not too salty and not too sweet. Since I (along with my sister and my hubby) can't handle dairy, we get our "Italian" food at a local place called Vegan Pizza. I love their "Chick'n" & Mushroom calzones! 😋😊😋

I like calzones but the toppings/fillings to ricotta ratio needs to be very high because I'm not a fan of ricotta.
