Perhaps they needed something a little more interesting than "Enterovirus D 68" which everyone basically ignored because the name sounded way too boring and scientific for the public to remember. But then again it would make strategic sense to attack a nation armed with nukes using a bio weapon. Speaking of which, word has come down through the pipeline that there is a pandemic in Russia involving some disease or illness that has not been identified, or there is insufficient information on the details of the matter, which is to be expected from a nation that is enemies with the U.S.

Speaking of which, word has come down through the pipeline that there is a pandemic in Russia involving some disease or illness that has not been identified, or there is insufficient information on the details of the matter, which is to be expected from a nation that is enemies with the U.S. It's because a biological agent such as a bacteria can be easily smuggled into a country, using either a "seed" batch and reproducing it using equipment similar to a micro-brewery, or mass "immigration" of "Typhoid Marys".
