I liked SmartFood enough when I was a kid and it was new, the matte black bag with the graphic of corn popping out of its opened husk was cool as a novelty, but it kind of smells like my feet after a run. I've always loved Cheetos and frankly would have preferred their nuclear orange powdery goodness on popcorn to Smartfood, all along.
9.5/10

Mostly because "Wise" and "Lance" dominated the cheddar popcorn industry throughout the 1970's and 1980's. White cheddar popcorn gained in popularity as the multi colored popcorn of the 1970's became unavailable in the mid 1980's over the concern of the impact of red dye number 5 possibly causing cancer. As you can see that white cheddar popcorn doesn't contain any artificial dyes or colorings which accounted for it's great success amid public fears of any and all artificial dyes at the time.
