I don't think I could try and eat this meat. And the second picture shows them cooked rare like beef? And it's safe it doesn't need to be cooked thoroughly? Power Ranger

I’ve had it several times. It’s sold in our supermarkets. I wouldn’t eat them rare, some say there are e.coli concerns.
It’s a red meat but I don’t like the taste of the steak unless it’s marinaded. It’s really good in burgers and sausages. It’s a red meat and soft in burgers and sausages and you don’t feel as full after it like with beef. Although it’s soft as a burger and sausage it’s tough as a steak.
It’s meant to be really healthy but kangaroos can’t be farmed and people aren’t really taking to it. Otherwise it would be ideal as we have more kangaroos than people.

I'd try it. I've had rabbit, squirrel, alligator, deer. Might as well try some roo meat.

There are some fish that don't lend themselves to eating (the lazy bottom dwellers, the meat is not good quality due to lack of exercise and it's usually full of small bones as they don't need the strength to support active muscles), but if the animal is reasonably active, it will probably taste okay. I've had crocodile (probably similar to alligator) - that was delicious. And zebra, and some kind of antelope. This was on safari in Kenya - all very good. My Dad used to pick stuff up off the road - if it's just been hit by the windscreen, it's usually fine. We got loads of pheasants and a deer once, and were always catching our own fish.

Should I assume that when it comes to gutting fish etc., you are not much use?

Joc Spader , I've tried it several times, it's very good. Why don't you think you could try? Just because. I've never had lamb in my life either but I would try it. Think I've eaten squirrel before when my Grandpa would shoot them and rabbit. Bear meat and deer meat I enjoyed.

Fair enough. Half of them have been humped by drunk Australians, so it's probably for the best.

One Paki guy told me that you can get camel meat at a supermarket in an immigrant neighbourhood around here, IDK I may try it sometime. How you you have never tried lamb dude? Are you from New Zealand or something?

Are you from New Zealand or something? Don't know if it's the reason but have you ever seen Lamp Chop the puppet? It was very rare I got to see him. Now I learn it was a girl according to wikipedia.

Don't know if it's the reason but have you ever seen Lamp Chop the puppet? We got Lamb Chop over here when I was very, very small. At that age, I didn't recognise accents. Probably wasn't even registering what they were saying. It seems strange now that a puppet that she obviously loved she would call 'chop'.
