Like how I had a panic attack when I was proposed the first time? Someone proposed to you or you did the proposing? She did the proposing. He said no.

No, i'd like to meet a life partner, but marriage is an unnecessary tradition for me.

Like how I had a panic attack when I was proposed the first time? Someone proposed to you or you did the proposing? He proposed me and even spoke about children. That was the beginning of the end.

Same here. My mother argued with my father. Always. My mother argues, other people have sex. I remember entering the house once and the atmosphere was like ice and that is how you knew they were both at home. My mother continues to argue with my stepfather. My mother argues, other people have sex. It's like a biochemical thing with her. You can regulate your calender with her urges to fight. The fourth day it is. My parents argued all the time. In moments of stress my father would put his fist through a door or wall. Not so bad with the old style lathe and plaster wall, but we had solid oak doors which probably contributed to his arthritis later on. When he did anything like that my mother would say oh look kids, see what the big man has done. And my father would say, yeah, ok doll, sorry, no need to go on, I will fix it.
It was a warm house and I always felt that my parents were there for me. But it was also like having a visit from the Queen. Everything always smelt of fresh paint and new plaster.

I'm not against getting married. Just isn't high on the priority list.

I'm married and I wish I was young and single again. If only for a few years.

Sure to the right person. At the end of the day, people over-complicate things. If there was no official ceremonious thing-it's just two people in love (hopefully) and live in the same home for a long time
