This one takes a bit of getting used to, so if you want to quote 1 section only, it's easier to just click 'Quote' and then edit out the parts you don't want.
HOWEVER, (i) if a post has many embedded quotes in it and you can't be bothered to edit them all out of your reply (which is a bit fiddly) and only want to quote the last sentence, or (ii) when you want to quote several sections and reply to each one (so your reply is quote/reply/quote/reply/quote/reply), this is really useful:
1. Highlight the 1st section that your wish to quote. 2. On the right, click the Settings cog and click Quote Selection. Click OK (it will auto-ok after about 3 seconds if you don't). 3. Highlight the 2nd section, and do item 2 again. 4. Repeat for additional sections. 5. Click the Reply button. 6. Under the reply box, you will now see a quotes section - click on the Quotes tab, and there are all of your selected quotes. 7. Hover to the left of your 1st quote and click 'insert'. This puts it into your reply (you may be seeing the BBCode tab, swap to the Preview tab under the reply window). 8. Open up some space below the 1st quote with a few carriage returns, then insert the 2nd quote in the same way. 9. Repeat for additional quotes.
Beeeyootiful.

. Highlight the 1st section that your wish to quote That worked. Highlight the 2nd section, and do item 2 again. That too.
