It’s currently 16 degrees where I’m at.
That’s Fahrenheit for all your foreign chaps on here.

Most of you guys may not understand. But I live in New Orleans. We don't get much cold weather down here. But we are supposed to stay below freezing for a whole week !!! (Just at night. Highs in the 30's.) We are not used to this kind of weather. And I work outside !!! We don't even have insulated pipes !!! Trying this again..... Alabama here... I have one cat hanging out in front of the gas heater. Second cat has found refuge up under the covers in the bedroom. Third cat does not care about trivial matters like temperature. You have three cats? What kind?

But aren't you guys used to that where you are? For Virginia, this is on the cooler side. I’m originally from Connecticut, so teen digits are pretty standard for winter time. But here in the south, people complain about it being too cold when it’s 45 degrees outside lol. I just looked at the forecast and the only day where the high will be above freezing is on Wednesday. Definitely not normal for around here.

We get some dustings and accumulations every once in awhile. Although, two years ago the county I was in got 18 inches. Definitely was not prepared for that. They don’t know how to treat the roads properly.

Yep. But they know how to treat the roads before and after the snow arrives. Doesn’t take long for them to clear the roads. What do they do (wrong) in Virginia? They barely salt the roads. And they don’t have the right plowing trucks to efficiently move the snow.
