Once upon a time I bet there were no snakes in Australia. Then some showed up. I think that Hawaii has some pretty strict laws against importing snakes. But yeah.....Humans fuck up everything.

Hawaii began its existence as lifeless, steaming volcanic rock. Every living thing there is descended from an invader that hitched a ride somehow.
