Firstly, having milk in tea is a disgrace to humanity.
But, if you insist on doing so due to some form of mental weakness which keeps your tastes at that of a baby, it should go in after the water so that the water is at maximum temperature when applied to the tea. Thus breweth perfection.

I don't drink tea, loathe the stuff only had 3 cups in my whole life. My wife however always adds the milk first and I have always mocked her. This scientist is a damned fool.

P.S. The only way you can loathe tea is if you are stewing it for too long - goes horribly bitter. Try a green tea or jasmine - very refreshing, but only keep the tea in the water for about 10 seconds. Maybe not even.

Yeah, I am ashamed at the blatant Americanism but i really fucking hate tea! Coffee is very much the continental European drink. Should have been a big clue for us early on.

I used to drink tea when it was a teapot ritual. Then I discovered brewed and expresso coffee. I am down to 2 cups a day now, and when those uncivilised brutes only have instant coffee available, I still enjoy a well brewed cup of tea. I refuse to have anything to do with overpriced and underflavoured coffee capsules. I hear some even have rfid chips so only the name brand will work in particular machines. Mug consumers.

I refuse to have anything to do with overpriced and underflavoured coffee capsules. I know! They spend hundreds on a machine and capsules to get useless, weak coffee just because the machine looks fancy so they can ooh and aahh over it when their friends came round. All you need are beans, grinder, can and strainer - makes the best coffee ever. You can also get machines now that grinds up the beans into a powder and makes a capsule for you which you then put in the other machine to open the capsule to get the powder out and pour water over it. What a ridiculous waste of manufacturing resources and energy!
