Thatcherism saved us from looming socialism and transformed us into a services economy when manufacturing customers had all gone to the cheaper and more reliable competition and the Labour clowns didn't understand why due to economic ineptitude. They still blame Thatcher for not sinking the country by wasting billions on industries that had no chance of surviving.

She was the epitomy of everything unpleasant in the national character at that time, the sheer hatred and demonisation of the poor, the "greed is good" culture of the pathetic yuppie types and their cult of excess and the destruction of services and inner cities and the selling of national assets that belonged to the people but were sold off to mainly foreign interests for short term gains.
As I posted elsewhere, she was a good friend of the mass murderer General Pinochet and child rapist Jimmy Savile which just about says all you need to know about her.

Jackson was my MP for a decade or so and I reckon we saw more of her when she was flashing her tits in the Music Lovers than on constituency matters.

People seem to prefer the shiny but empty vessels of career politicians than people of conviction these days. they say you get the politicians you deserve and Monkeys and Mowhux and the like have Boris and Priti and friends.
