Total stretch to say Sir Keith is winning them back - it's Johnson who's doing all of the work for him and driving them away. The plotting in the corridors of the Houses of Parliament must be thick in the air already...

I think they've learnt their lesson for betraying their parents and grandparents.

When Keir inevitably gets in Labour should go "William the Conqueror" on their arses.

I think they've learnt their lesson for betraying their parents and grandparents. They got Brexit done, which was Johnson's sole purpose. Preventing the loony Corbyn as well, of course. No surprise, really.

When Keir inevitably gets in Labour should go "William the Conqueror" on their arses. I don't think it'll be that easy - the Conservatives will get someone else in who can only possibly do a better job than Johnson (surely...?) and they'll then have a decent chance. Johnson is really the Conservatives' sole problem (or they will certainly package it like that) - easy problem to solve, no reason why they wouldn't.

They were only really on loan for Brexit, these are not people the Conservatives can really keep, because even at their most "liberal" they are incapable of avoiding the financial scandals and double standards that have always bedevilled the Tories. I see the future being largely one of collaborate government with the Lib Dems as kingmakers. After the near destruction of the party and broken promises of the deal with Cameron, it is very likely that there would be an arrangement for the next election where they work with Labour and possibly even not put up candidates in certain areas. The Conservatives only real chance is to get shot of Boris fast and install someone that would bridge the gap towards Labour voters and it's very hard to see anyone currently in the Tories who would be acceptable to those voters. Voters actively seem to like "bland" and Starmer fits that Cameron/Blair stereotype whereas putting up the billionaire Sunak will just get up people's noses and who else is there?
