out and about, and politicians being snide to/at one another. It probably is not your biggest problem, but it seems like it. Nice work if you can get it... as the song goes.

They were very careless to party at a time when others were facing prosecution for breaking covid rules. They should have known it could leak. But it shouldn’t cost them the leadership.

The country is going through a mega epidemic of priggery. In times of crisis this country and its leaders have always stood with its back to the wall, a bottle in each hand and shit faced drunk.
I can't say that I approve of Boris breaking the flu regulations that he has lumbered the rest of the country with, but when I look at the pompous, museli ridden vegans on the opposition benches, it is hard to get worked up.

Jfc, they're prosecuted for it? The country is going through a mega epidemic of priggery. In times of crisis this country and its leaders have always stood with its back to the wall, a bottle in each hand and shit faced drunk.

Haha, museli ridden, I died, so good. There's an exchange that's attributed to Churchill and one Lady Astor (which I'm about to brutalize in an attempt at recollection): She: Why sir, you are drunk! He: Yes, madam, and you are ugly but in the morning I shall be sober!! lol, tradition marches on
