Clearly desperate, the way he's pitching himself to his party. Yesterday's awful interview has obviously lead to people telling him to act strong, but that just makes him look as if he doesn't give a shit again. The whips are obviously desperate to "change the narrative" but I think it's just too late.

The whips are obviously desperate to "change the narrative" but I think it's just too late. Agree, it was a clear sales pitch to his party to try and retain support but probably too late. (Well, May 2020 was the time to act and not allow parties!)
