Hmm. It talks about making misogyny a hate crime but surely the purpose is to identify other crimes (assault, etc) where misogyny is the motive. (Like racism or homophobia are the motives in other crimes.)
So if someone says "I hate women because they are women", is that a crime according to this? Seems daft. But if someone assaults a woman due to hating women, that's obviously assault but also a hate crime, because hate was the motive. But hate is not a crime in itself, surely?
