I once came over a staircase in the woods and by the staircase there was an old bed.

I think some people just put the bed by the staircase to confuse people, and there was probably a house there before, and all that was left of the house was the staircase.


But still i found it strange.

When I was 16, I went for a walk in the bush not too far from where I grew up. It was a bit late in the day, in Winter, so the sun was setting early.
I followed a big sandy river down about a kilometre or so, until I found a bend in the river. By now it was starting to get dark. I reached a clump of tall trees in the middle of the river- and couldn't walk through them. I just stopped in my tracks, and suddenly my anxiety levels shot straight up. It was a full-on psychological feeling that wouldn't allow me to physically walk in that specific location. I looked up into the trees and all around, and saw nothing, but I did notice that things were quiet all around me. So I turned around and walked back the way I came. With every step, I felt a tiny bit better.
By the time I reached the point where I had entered the river, my anxiety was all gone.
Not long after I actually returned to that area, and could walk through those trees no problem and I never got that feeling ever again.

I didn't enjoy my teenage years much, and I had a lot going on in my life during that particular year, and it was on dark, I was a long walk from home and I probably just spooked myself. But then again, maybe for that briefest moment in time, something didn't want me being there.
