Babies having babies Red foxes are here where I live. When I go for a hike or a jog, one will cross my path right out on the hilly paved road. I'll say Hi baby, how are you sweetheart? and they're used to people so they're calm and easy, just walking right by me. Only ever one at a time, the opposite of the deer who are also around. Here, the foxes' fur isn't shaggy like this mommy fox, but they're built like that, long and short, and with a big fluffy brush (tail). So sweet, little doggies.

I see one (or maybe there are a few, I'm foxist so they all look alike to me) as I drive down a sparsely housed woody area near my place. One time, it was just trotting along right on the shoulder of the road so I slowed and drove alongside it since no other traffic was in sight. He just keep trotting away calm as anything. I even said "Hey, what's up dog?" but it rudely ignored me.

And from me to you that's totally different parts of the country, so it can't be a regional thing. Lol, foxist. I wonder what type of mischief they get up to when no humans are looking.

I just want to squeeze their cute noses, but I'm sure it would cost me a couple of fingers lol. I'm the same way with the chipmunks here. I have two big sliding glass doors perpendicular to each other that frame the corner of the patio, and I had one door open with the blinds all the way up. The chipmunks spend all day darting across the patio, and with half of one big glass door just not there, a chipmunk darted in then stopped short in the dining room right there at the entrance, not two feet away from me as I was on my way to sit back down on the patio. I looked down at it, trying not to move, 'cause I didn't want to scare it. The chipmunk looked around all herky-jerky moving its head the same way they run, stop and start, and looked up at me so I looked out the door, then it looked out the door and ran back out. Animals are very observant. The desire to be like Oh hi, sweetie, can I pet you? was overridden by the reassurance it would bite my fingertips off, or how even just squandering the moment it still knew where it was could result in a panicked chipmunk darting around inside and finding its way back out who knows when. They're so cute, though, you just want to pick one up and pet it until actually afforded the opportunity because... common sense.

Yes chipmunks are very cute with their chubby little cheeks and rapid nut-eating ways. Wild animals shouldn't be so misleadingly adorable.

I bet your condo bylaws don't cover these, either. OH MY GOD, I LOVE WHEN CUBS OR KITTENS OR PUPPIES CRAWL OVER ONE ANOTHER AND THEN JUST STOP. Awwwwwwwww... LOL. The orangutan made it weird, borderline sex pest.

Ugly fuckers lol! Those white baby tigers sounded like birds! When I was just a young mump, my mom bred and entered collies in dog shows, so we had several pairs around usually. When one or two had litters close together, there would sometimes be like 10 or 12 puppies around for a while until they got old enough to sell. It was so fun when I would go running by (my age range during this was 4 to 7 or so) and the whole pack of puppies would come chasing and yipping after me and would sometimes catch up and trip me up and swarm all over me nipping and licking. The good old days lol!

The good old days lol! I can't! Too adorable. Dream set up for that age, aww. I love how (like the lion cubs with the tiger cubs) pets are all I walk on you now!! with their humans. I think it's cats even more so than dogs; they got the propensity straight from their big cat cousins! The only small dog I ever had was a Lhasa Apso and even though he was only 12 pounds, instead of walking right over me, he'd put a front paw down really gingerly and then pick it up like I might hurt you, I'm such a ferocious beast. The only time he'd walk right over me, cat-style, was when I was under my down comforter. He wasn't a dummy kind of dog who thought I wasn't there b/c of the quilt, he was super smart and so probably decided the comforter lent enough padding to protect me from his crushing weight, lol. For all my joking, he was so little and dense he really did pack a punch if he walked over my stomach or side. It was very Ugh, I love you too. Okay, let's go for that walk then.

Did you have one with really long hair so it looked like it had a mop on it's head?

Like this, but with the colors and patterning of the black and white below who's in need of a fresh haircut but looks so much like my baby doggie. Lol, you can't let their hair grow over their eyes like that even though it's so cute, 'cause they can't see.
