22 dead due to the brutal government and Macron is criticising Trump for expressing support for the people. What a complete clown. Not surprising though. These EU types support governments beating their people (see: Spain). www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5233109/Macron-says-Trump-putting-U-S-path-war-Iran.htmlMacron actually used the word appeasement in his policy statement towards the Palestinians!! He said, "We prefer appeasement and dialogue." What a loser. France's Macron criticizes Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital © Getty Images French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday criticized President Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. "Jerusalem: France does not approve the US decision. France supports the Two-State Solution, Israel and Palestine, living in peace and security, with Jerusalem as the capital of both States," Macron said in a statement. "We must prefer appeasement and dialogue"

The thing is that anyone can make bland populist knee jerk tweets to look good, but meanwhile the diplomats who have to work behind the scenes shake their haeads and know that he;s just made things worse.

Yes, those diplomats did such a great job concerning N Korea, but it's not that hard to take the coward's way out, kick the can down the road for decades, and not give a crap about the starvation, toture and murder of the people of an entire country. And Clinton, through his stooge jimmy Carter, did a heckuva job helping n Korea develop its nuclear weapons. Career diplomats. like all career politicians, are the scum of the earth.

Disagree, I think he has helped give them hope (something diplomats never manage to do) and therefore moved things a step closer to being better. Diplomacy will just preserve the life of an oppressive regime. What is needed here is an all-out revolution. Sometimes, you need a fight, not diplomacy, because those people are oppressed. Screw being diplomatic with the oppressors - kill them.

What a clown. Like I said though, these EU types reserve the right to beat their people into accepting EU membership, so it's hardly surprising he sides with the oppressive government.

We are talking about Iran are we not? Sorry, clearly not fully awake yet! No, I do not support a ground invasion of Iran. I support the people overthrowing their government. I wouldn't say a tweet is hollow - it is motivational to the people and a clear warning to the government.

There are many secret ways to offer support without being self serving.

Yes, it may make them clamp down more, but I also think it will make the people even more determined. What is not required here is maintaining the status quo - it needs to be upset. This will cause short-term pain but hopefully long-term gain. I'm not sure how else a message of support could be sent to the people on a large scale in a short time other than this.
