not a lot to play for, 3rd and 4th still up for grabs and Swansea need a 9 goal turn around miracle to stay up. Elsewhere, Charlton need to turn over a 1 goal deficit at Shrewsbury to make the League one play off final and Exeter and Lincoln battle it out in League two. Think I'll watch the Charlton game myself.

Well, given that Shearer and Cole needed 46 games to get 34 goals, I think 32 in 38 is way more impressive.
Dixie Dean still holds the record with 60.

Some achievement, but impossible to compare eras I always think. They are so athletic now that a footballers body shape has completely changed with very little weight training any more. Also they kick a thing closer to a beach ball than the old leather thing with laces. Remember heading those things in the 70's in the rain, Christ they were heavy.
