Angeli Gomez, mother of two at Robb Elementary School, was initially handcuffed by police, but persuaded other officers to remove the cuffs, she then was able to get into the school without being noticed and rescue her two children. I don't know if the CMH can be given to civilians but if it can, she should be a recipient. Her determination can't be honored enough. Hmm I dont know all the ins and outs of the situation but it's never an easy situation to deal with. Sure cops have guns but they're only pistols or maybe shotguns? The student had 2 assault rifles... Oh just go in and sacrifice yourself. My child is more important than your life
Maybe they were waiting for SWAT or something?

I would hope not, Uvalde seems to be mostly Mexican American town, so race really shouldn't a factor there. It doesn't take much to wind-up some folks, especially teenage boys, and then they can't be stopped. It's like they don't realize what they will be doing will mean the death of innocent people. That young man did not hate those children. He didn't have anything against them. They were just part of the rage as symbolic causalities. |

I kept thinking the Trumpist conspiracy mindset would have cooled down by now, but other forces keep it going. Trump himself seems to be waning in popularity. I'm not sure how this effects the mid-terms, but it will more than the Right thinks it will...and they seem scared Hilliary is running again which is why they are attacking her out of nowhere right now. They keep bringing up her past sins. I don't think she will. |
