It has the opposite effect. I have dry mouth instead of being hydrated. One reason might be the more extreme red dye. No good. Avoid.

I miss the orange and ice tea flavors of Gatorade, but unfortunately Gatorade is no longer sold
anywhere near this area and it was completely supplanted by Powerade almost 20 years ago.
It is one of those products I would have to order on the internet, and end up paying way more than it is worth.

I completely agree - I can barely drink Powerade, Gatorade is far superior. Gatorade is pretty much my go to drink as I do not drink carbonated beverages such as Pepsi or Coke, and I don’t drink much alcohol, so I drink Gatorade a lot. Lemon-lime and Orange are the best flavors of Gatorade but I like most flavors.
