I got this idea from the weather channel.com. Just what the hell is so wrong with buying a car that been in a flood? If the engine starts and goes into gears and you could get it dirt cheap. Then buy it. Just take the seats out and wash them out. And wash the interior out with a water hose. Then let it air dry out. If I could drive. And if I could find an SUV dirt cheap,....., hell yeah.

Sure, if the engine and electrics all work and it doesn't stink, why not?

What I would do is get some door panel removal tools, take out the seats, take out the rugs and high pressure wash everything. A little bit of your own sweat equity and you're probably have a damn good vehicle.
