Forget the quality and blah blah and all that stuff.
Which band do you enjoy the most?
For me, it's simple: ELO.
I love these guys.

Bowie. Alice in Chains. Queens of the Stone Age. Which Bowie? I'm a big fan of Aladdin Sane, Diamonds Dogs, Station to Station period, then Scary Monsters. Watch That Man being my favourite song.

I like all Bowie from "The Man Who Sold the World" to "Scary Monsters". After "Scary Monsters" he started playing to American Top 40 and he sucked.
"Panic in Detroit" and "Cracked Actor" are probably my favorite Bowie songs.

Pretty much the same here - the 70s and early 80s stuff. Some of Let's Dance is okay but it goes downhill after that and he was done by Never Let Me Down.

Station To Station is his masterpiece, one of the all time greatest albums. From Hunky Dory to Scary Monsters he was peerless. Never much liked the 80's Bowie onwards, though what an album "The Next Day" was.

Christ, I used to see Runrig often, my mate was a huge fan and would always drag me along. Not my cup of tea, but they certainly had an enthusiastic crowd, loads of scarf waving.
