There was a similar thread on the Site That Shall Not Be Named. Since that appears to be gone now, I thought I'd start one here.

Wagons West by Frank McLynn
It is one of those books I have dipped into dozens of times over the years, but never actually read from start to finish.

Just started Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman. Apparently he retells several Norse legends and even perhaps puts his own flair in there for fun. I’m only on the introduction so far.

Finishing off Jake Arnott's great "Long Firm" trilogy. This one takes in the late 80's and Acid House drug dealing. Cracking stuff as ever.

I'm currently reading DOCTOR WHO AND THE CRUSADERS, by David Whitaker - that's the good Whitaker with one "T" - for the very first time.
At this stage, I've owned the book for about 42 or 43 years, so I thought it was about time I made an effort... and as it's one of the better efforts from Target and I'm not overly familiar with the serial, I thought it might be a rare chance to venture into relatively unknown territory.
Obviously it won't take long, but I figure if I limit myself to just 30 or 40 pages per day, I can spin it out for a week if I'm lucky.
