My lower back is killing me. I've been struggling with chronic muscle spasms in my neck and shoulders since I was in my early 20's, but now my low back is giving me trouble. What a bitch! I'm at work right now and can't wait to go home and soak in a warm bathtub. It is heĺl getting old. We can't escape our genetics. And unlike high cholesterol or blood pressure that can be mitigated, if I end up with spinal stenosis like my mom and gram, there is nothing I can do about it. And I have a curve in my lumbar already from scoliosis. That's the source of the neck and shoulder problems. I used to have an inversion table. I bought it for my mom like twenty years ago, and I have no idea what happened to it. I want another one.

There are jokes on reddit about how one could do this or that when younger, but now sleep wrong & the neck is messed up for a week. There is even a bit in The Apprentice movie about getting older.

I did it one time and it felt great, but more than just inverting and staying dangling basically His dad had me twist and flex. My spine popped from my butt bone to my shoulders. Like black cat fireworks in a trashcan. That whole day I felt great, next day though sweet god I couldn't get out of bed lol. If I ever do it again think I'll just dangle..

Thelma (2024) Saw it in a theater. So many "i can relate" moments. I haven't had the "I've fallen & i can't get up" moment, but it is coming, I know. Friends dying. "Have we met?" Etc.

Friends dying. "Have we met?" Etc. I'm not quite their yet. I'm just really unlucky (or lucky depending on pov). Like in about month will be a year since I broke my ankle walking in a bookstore. Now I did fall and I couldn't get up, but it was just random happenstance that my knee wobbled a bit as it tends to do from a car accident. I fell in the perfect way to break my ankle. All my weight trapping against the floor and it twisting outwards. Everyone says I'm actually lucky. I tend to have a lots of little to medium problems a lot, but when something catastrophic happens I always come out pretty unscathed. Like flipping 2 cars in 3 years and coming out them with not much damage...

Another problem is loving partners.
Somewhere Herself has picked up the idea that cider vinegar cures coughs, colds and pimples on the belly. So every morning I am served a mug of the stuff. It tastes foul, doesn't work and makes the place smell like a fish and chip shop, but I can do without the row so I thank Her profusely and put up with the stuff

It's funny you posted that, because I've seen it. I'm obsessed with those chiropractor videos. I'd be too afraid of ending up with a neck injury. But my cervical spine has also been a mess since I was a teenager.

Now i think it's a temporary fix, like popping one's knuckles, & maybe leads to more problems like making one's back pop out.

For a bit, I got into watching Chiro Vids, Slavic Barbers, Indian Barbers, Russian Chiro, and Rando's at Home cracking their joints... There is one Russian (I think Russian) dude that is skinny and flexable as shit that goes to Chiro's that seem to be out of their spare bedroom. They bent that fucker more than anything I've ever seen.

that can almost get me a whole tank of gas!
Looks like only 12 windows need to be replaced not 15 out of the 18. About 4/5 vinyl siding panels need to be replaced from being peppered with gravel. (with 1 panel with 2 holes higher up can be patched). And 2 roof panels on the 20x10 foot out building needs to be replaced. They don't leak or anything but they are in rough shape. He said he'd give me the bid by end of week. Wanna take a guess for total see if you get close? My Brother is going to take down the Crepe Myrtle that is kinda touching the roof a bit and I will do the Pressure Washing (House, Storage Building, and Art Building). I would do the Murdering of the Crepe Myrtle, but he is just better at it than me. I maybe getting old (or lazy take you pick) but I think I can handle Pressure Washing still. The Chica will be doing some shrub and gardening work. All this spurred from a inspection I wanted done by the Insurance company. The Shrub/Gardening was actually on the list as 2 shrub roots had worked their way into one of the vents in the crawl space. thekindercarebear... dude first quote was 16,588... i was just off by 10k.
