Looks like only 12 windows need to be replaced not 15 out of the 18. About 4/5 vinyl siding panels need to be replaced from being peppered with gravel. (with 1 panel with 2 holes higher up can be patched). And 2 roof panels on the 20x10 foot out building needs to be replaced. They don't leak or anything but they are in rough shape. He said he'd give me the bid by end of week. Wanna take a guess for total see if you get close? My Brother is going to take down the Crepe Myrtle that is kinda touching the roof a bit and I will do the Pressure Washing (House, Storage Building, and Art Building). I would do the Murdering of the Crepe Myrtle, but he is just better at it than me. I maybe getting old (or lazy take you pick) but I think I can handle Pressure Washing still. The Chica will be doing some shrub and gardening work. All this spurred from a inspection I wanted done by the Insurance company. The Shrub/Gardening was actually on the list as 2 shrub roots had worked their way into one of the vents in the crawl space. ... dude first quote was 16,588... i was just off by 10k. I didn't catch the math, 10k under or 10k over. ๐จ |

The economy is fine...........for certain contractors. Dude talking to the Contractor he can't squeeze in him/family time right now. He has jobs lined up for weeks and usually working 6 days a week just to keep up. He's only squeezing me in for a favor to my brother who knew the Contractor from my brother working as a Supply Coordinator for Contractors. Turns out me and the Contractor knew each other from k-3 before I moved to NC. Hell I stayed over at his house for a sleep over. |

I've always wanted to try this but I think, If I ever got it done the dude would fuck me up... Like seriously it's both intriguing and completely terrifying to watch lol... It's funny you posted that, because I've seen it. I'm obsessed with those chiropractor videos. I'd be too afraid of ending up with a neck injury. But my cervical spine has also been a mess since I was a teenager. This just popped into my feed... They do Chiropractic Care differently out there in the world. Sometimes it looks like they are trying to make him into dough or pretzel... |

it is 48 degrees out and 71 degrees in my shop.
i am so cold!
i am huddling around my dell 24" monitors which surprisingly give off quite a bit of heat to star warm.
i would raise the heat to 73 but my renter is in a turtleneck i'd hate to cook the guy haha

Today I had to get up early and get the kids ready for school. We were running about five minutes late. As I closed the locked door behind me and reached into my pants pocket for car keys, it dawned on me that I had not retrieved my keys from the previous day's pants.
It's fine, though. I have a hidden key of course. So I set everything down that I was carrying and ran to the hiding spot and was able to get back in the house.
But then I couldn't find the pants from yesterday. So I ran through the house for two minutes until I finally found them. Scooted the kids into the car and got them to school on time, then drove nearly an hour to my office. I arrived at my office 10 minutes early, parked and then reached over to grab my laptop bag. A sinking feeling set in as I realized my bag was one of the things in my hand that I set down to deal with the lock-out and that I had never gone back to grab it.
So then I drove nearly an hour home and am working from home today, and, thankfully, my bag was still sitting there on the porch.
