notoriousnobbi , ... Please - seek help. Let it go. Stop giving a shit. For your own health. Situation now, a Briton having written about Brexit So start giving a shit. For your own health and for the health of others. For the future of the UK. For then You will be able to see through whether tabloids lie once the govt. is in the hands of Labour. Labour will have to decide which Brexit model to follow as the Tories did not. That will be the moment when disinformation wars will reach a new peak. Thx for your obsession meme. My obsession (in the meantime) is not with Brexit per se but with the non-engagement of many here with that topic. There should be a honest public discussion of adults on what to do now. And no, it's not about rejoining (out of question at the moment) but which principal model to follow (that may include cooperation with the EU in some sectors). If You don't start that soon you will be kicked out of the ECHR by shady spin doctors instead. Piss off.

This time Chris Grey introduces his weekly on X with the words A country on hold chrisgreybrexitblog.blogspot.com/2024/03/a-country-on-hold.html?m=1... A long read,... and sadly this means that the discussion what Brexit model to follow is also on hold. :( This is why I say it again: Labour should DEMAND THE TORIES BEING OPEN WHICH BREXIT MODEL THEY FOLLOW (or intend to) and they should do it NOW! Because otherwise the Tories - once in opposition - can always try to claim BRINO or "wrong Brexit" if Labour finally decides which way to go. A very long read indeed - and it finishes with

Discussions on reddit sometimes have a good quality. The Brexit section there is worth having a look from time to time. As an example the comment for is here https://www.reddit.com/r/brexit/comments/1b9ktas/a_country_on_hold/

There are some silver linings at the horizon!
Even the hand-picked audience in BBC News Night is no longer prepared to put up with everything - and I sincerely hope that the debate on the direction Brexit should take will finally get underway. I understand that Labour wants to remain silent on this, but that won't help in the medium term because they really need to show that the government doesn't have a consistent plan - NOW. If they don't, they will be dismantled by the opposition after the imminent change of government. Unfortunately, the (then) opposition still has far too much opinion powering media behind it.

Unemployment is rising here. Think of all those Brits going hungry, gets you going, doesn't it? I starved to death as a result of Brexit, which was no bad thing because not only did it please Nobbi, but to be honest, I could afford to lose a few pounds. So everybody won As I cannot stand my opponents getting hungry while fighting I might try sending You a package of tinned "Pfälzer Leberwurst". I heard that the border controls aren't too sharp yet. But I fear the bureaucracy. What about some more fresh food? Yesterday I ate Spaghetti with a pesto made of fresh bear garlic. The time to go into the woods searching it is NOW! (The similar but toxic lily-of-the-valley still needs 2 months or so) While collecting You have to focus on the plants that are not blooming yet, they have that special aroma. {video inside}
