Every pissing website is covered in them.
And now they stick videos in the corner and when you scroll down the video jumps to a different position on the page.
Fuck off!!!!!!!

The Daily Mail bugs me with that. Sometimes the page takes ages to load because it's getting ads fromm here, from there, from everywhere and if you've got anti-virus it takes ages.

Such tactics like refusing to let you view the page until you buy one of their products or sign up for whatever service they are advertising, and even then you still don't get to view the web site you were trying to get to.
Then there is all the malware attached to the advertisements that downloads an entire gigabyte of data to your hard drive designed to deploy later with some stupid advertisement video that locks your entire computer system down and holds all of your data ransom until you have completed viewing the video and agree to the terms of the advertisement.
These are the reasons why people use advertisement blockers, not because they don't want to see the advertisements but because the way those advertisements are implemented interferes with the proper functioning of both the internet and the computer being used.
It only takes a few such knucklehead advertisement agencies to ruin the reputation of all advertisements, and once you have lost the trust of the public it is nearly impossible to regain a relationship of trust where you can sell the products you were advertising.
Far from actually selling your product through the use of an independent contractor who has absolutely nothing to lose by destroying the reputation of your company and the products you sell. It instead has the opposite effect of driving sales down which in this tough economy with tariffs and trade sanctions, can quite easily bankrupt entire corporations.
So you would be better off being in charge of your own advertising instead of farming it out to some other agency that will fuck it up even worse than the "Conquistador Coffee" in that Monty Python sketch.
