Most of the evidence supports the theory that most humans in the Western Hemisphere came across the Alaskan/Siberia land bridge, south through North America first, second through Central America, and last into South America. Maybe some people came across the South Pacific. But no evidence they got very far. But the suggestion that South America was populated first, is not only ridiculous, but as Balian d'Ibelin has shown, it's indefensible. It’s defensible if the evidence is there. But that is the deal --- no evidence.

I've read a few times about the theory that Polynesian type folks island hopped their way to South America possibly earlier than the land bridgers up north way. Didn't you first approach me with an offering of baby conehead skulls? 🤔 You just stake out these boards lookin' for posts about skulls and when you can't find one, you make it yourself. Confess !You got me. Can't get enough of super human skulls. They've got the crunch with the munch! I'm reminded of a joke I heard long ago: A tourist is traveling through Ireland when he is approached on the street by a peddler carrying a human skull.
"This is the skull of Brian Boru, I'll sell it to you for a couple of quid."
The tourist thinks it might be an interesting souvenir, so he agrees to buy it and goes on his way. A few days later, the same peddler approaches him bearing another skull and says to the tourist:
"This is the skull of Brian Boru. I'll sell it to you for a couple of quid."
The tourist then says "Hey, wait a minute! You sold me the skull of Brian Boru a couple of days ago. That one is not even the same size, it's way smaller."
Without missing a beat, the peddler replies "This one is from when he was younger!"

It’s defensible if the evidence is there. But that is the deal --- no evidence. My issue are the words “ridiculous” and “indefensible.”

Unlike Balian d'Ibelin who is just seems like a little pussy who can't debate anything. 2) NORTH AMERICA Researchers identified fossil footprints at White Sands National Park in New Mexico that date back 23,000 years. Scientists had believed that modern humans had arrived on the continent no earlier than 13,000 years ago, based upon tools archeologists had discovered.Oct 4, 2021share.america.gov/oldest-human-fossil-footprints-in-north-america/#:~:text=Researchers%20identified%20fossil%20footprints%20at,upon%20tools%20archeologists%20had%20discovered. 2) SOUTH AMERICA The 11,500-year-old skeleton was found in a cave in the Lapa Vermelha archeological site in Pedro Leopoldo, in the Greater Belo Horizonte region of Brazil, in 1974 by archaeologist Annette Laming-Emperaire.[1][2]en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luzia_Woman

Why do you think South America was populated before North America? I've read a few times about the theory that Polynesian type folks island hopped their way to South America possibly earlier than the land bridgers up north way. Kon-Tiki time!
