I wonder if anyone else here remembers the movie SOLE SURVIVOR. It’s a 1970 TV Movie (sorry). It involves the wreckage of an WWII Allied bomber plane that was thought to have been lost in the Mediterranean Sea but was discovered in the African desert. It’s a mystery that includes flashbacks to the survivors of the flight pondering their fate in the desert. There is a huge twist, however. It’s like a Twilight Zone episode. The cast includes William Shatner, Richard Basehart and Vince Edwards. I saw it once when it originally aired and have never seen int again, a story shared by many viewers online. It’s kind of a unicorn. The plot twist is revealed at the beginning. Dailymotion has it, if you can tolerate a commercial every ten minutes.

Has nobody seen.... ??????
Flying Monkeys, I'm thinking that it's Ice Cold in Alex (1958). I've never seen it, but it sounds (and looks) really interesting.

The Walking Hills 1949 directed by John Sturges. A long-lost gold treasure, believed buried in the sand dunes of the fabulous Walking Hills, attracts adventurers and treasure hunters. Hard work, suspicion, danger and intrigues and hatred and a raging desert sand-storm. Takes place in contemporary times. Not bad at all.
