But today's liberals aren't really liberal. They'd sale their soul before actually helping anyone. And would kill as many children as possible in third world nations for wealth.

Not a blanket statement at all, LOL. And do I agree with you? Of course not. And I haven't "sale my soul" in the work I do on global hunger relief. Oh, and I haven't killed any children in developing nations to increase my wealth. And I am among "today's liberals".

This is an admission that your previous blanket statement was incorrect.  "Today's liberals" aren't any one thing because not all liberals are the same. Not all conservatives are the same. In my global hunger work (not my main job, my volunteer work, my passion), I only encounter liberals, however. The only way we've gotten conservatives to listen to us is to set aside the human element - the staggering no. of people who starve to death, die of hydration every day - and to explain that preventative health measures are cost-effective and investing in microcredit allows people to raise themselves out of poverty. Even, then, it's a struggle to educate them.
