Is it gonna be an actual G.I. Joe movie or some generic ninja movie with the IP slapped on like that Snake Eyes movie? Still not convinced that wasn't originally just an unrelated script they tacked the name on.

According to insider @mytimetoshineh (via SFFGazette.com), a Transformers/G.I. Joe crossover is finally in the works. As you can see below, the scooper shared the cover artwork of an Image Comics comic event from 2003 along with the caption, "It's happening."
