Thankfully it seems this is an issue that has bipartisan support in condemning guys playing women's sports. They're disproportionately doing better than their female counterparts and are spoiling the sports designed so they could legitimately compete among their physical equals.
There are a few holdouts, but thankfully... legislation is increasingly passing to protect women. It also is gaining in public places including bathrooms which is a welcomed breath of sanity.

Do they, though? In this case, the athlete has lost to women multiple times in these races. That seems to run contrary to the claims. It reminds me of the old idea that black men have an unfair advantage over white men due to biology. What would you propose? They identify as women so won't want to play in the men's league, most people don't want them in the women's league, so where do you put them? A sort of Negro League? They are faking it to be women because as men they lost to other men in their sport. I bet the majority of them faking it to be women to beat women in sports will keep their package and go back to being men 100% when their sports career is over. Create tranny only sporting events where they only compete against each other, though I bet you would see a ton of them drop out and go back to being boys/men. It is also a win win for females because they will share the locker rooms with each other and not real women/girls. I haven't had any action for weeks. Think I will pretend to be a woman so I can go into their locker room to remind myself what I am missing. Xeliou66 , I don't think they're faking it. There are certainly some trolls who "identify as female" for ten seconds to break a woman's record but we're talking about people who have committed themselves to their identity and transitioning. In this case, as far as I can tell, Killips always competed as a woman. The idea that they would go through the social stigma associated with living as trans, which is far broader in scope than winning a game of sportsball, just to beat up on women or ogle them in the locker room is absurd to me.

Who knows? Maybe it's because last year Killips suffered a testicular injury. Even if Killips got "only" third....look at how she and other trans women are overly represented in the tops of female competitions. What's the name of that one swimmer who tied for fifth with a trans woman and then became an activist? This seems to happen quite a bit, I've noticed. I hear about these athletes and then look at their records, and while they perform well sometimes, women routinely beat them in contests. It's only when they win that it's a problem. I am sure that a top Middleweight boxer could beat a few middling Light Heavyweight fighters. That's not a reason to scrap weight classes altogether.

Thanks for bringing up weightclasses. That is a way to tier competitors in sports that makes it more fair despite the same sex having different builds and physical advantages. The biggest problem I have with this entire subject is that the conversation is around what needs to change in terms of the law and how we treat transgendered people and we're not looking at what rules sports can implement to ensure fairness of play.

So what? Just because a woman is a capable sometimes of beating a man in a sporting event doesn’t mean they should compete together. It will ruin womens sports to have trannies in it. You just care more about appearing woke and pleasing crybaby trannies than about keeping sports fair for women. Well, the claim is that men will come in and completely destroy all their female competitors. If you want to make that claim, you'll have to address the fact that trans women don't always win against women. Usain Bolt didn't win every race he ran, therefore something, because reasons.

Florida man wins women’s poker tournament David Hughes, 70, from Delton, Florida, participated in a $250 no-limit Texas Hold ’em game at the World Series of Poker’s Ladies event at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, over the weekend. And social media was quick to skewer the gambler for his entry into the $17,430 prize pool, the Las Vegas Review Journal reported. Hughes was allowed to enter the all-female tournament alongside 82 other women. Per its anti-discrimination legislation, Florida casinos by law cannot ban men from entering into a women’s tournament. Nevada also prohibits excluding men from competing in a women’s tournament. nypost.com/2023/05/03/florida-man-wins-womens-poker-tournament-insanity/I suppose there’s no inherent advantage in being male when playing poker.

Someone get this man a Bud Light! Men do have an advantage at poker. Mainly because many, many more men play poker than women (something like 10 to 1) and thus a woman's tournament is far less competitive. I think it's like only 5% of professional poker players are women. 95% are men.

Play is already as fair as it can be, so there is no need for any new rules.

If you want to make that claim, you'll have to address the fact that trans women don't always win against women. Usain Bolt didn't win every race he ran, therefore something, because reasons. Isn't the argument here that men will always beat women in sports due to their biological advantage? That it is inherently unfair because women have no chance at winning? How do you rectify that argument when trans women do lose to biological women in sports?

Clearly not, otherwise we wouldn't be having the discussion about trans women in women's sports. I don't even know how you could establish that it's "fair as it can be".
