I've been trying to build this damned PC for almost a month now. I tried ordering the CPU off Amazon twice. Both times they gave a delivery date a week out. Both times the day before it was supposed to arrive I get a message saying "yeah we have no idea when you'll get this but we'll let you know".
Eventually I just got the damned thing off Best Buy. They said 3 days. I got it in 3 days. Which shocked the crap out of me because I was 0-4 in completing an online transaction with Best Buy until now.
And now, I get the gaming Nvme drive. I order the Western Digital Black 4tb version. I get the order. The box says Western Digital Black 4tb. I open the Box. Inside is some 16gb Intel piece of crap worth about $30.
I NEVER thought I'd see that from Amazon. I'm not being melodramatic...it's completely destroyed my faith in them. I'll never buy tech from them again. I mean, fortunately I'm just under the return window so I'll get my money back, but STILL.
Looks like I'm going back to Best Buy full time for my electronics needs. Just looked. That drive is actually $30 CHEAPER there.
Amazon has fallen.

Is it actually Amazon or vendor using Amazon? The first CPU order was from a vendor. The second CPU order was from Amazon. The drive was from Amazon. Which makes me think the stuff that says "Amazon" isn't always Amazon.

I know personally paid for at least one of them. Now I'm thinking of cancelling Prime.

I recently order 6 barstools from them..........and it came from 3-4 separate vendors
Different delivery dates for all of them...........AND the last 2 were smashed up inside the box. So we got to wait on replacement parts.
