1. I've screwed up my life. 2. The only thing I have to look forward to is reuniting with my loved ones 1. You're not alone in that accomplishment. 2. That option is a rapidly retreating possibility for me. And it's no one's fault but my own. I have no one else to blame either

I'm 63. I was all ready to sail into the sunset with the love of my life, but tragedy and sadness have entered our life and its trajectory has changed. I'm just taking it one day at a time and hoping against hope my beloved partner can defeat the odds yet again.

If you had asked me two years ago I’d have answered: My life is nearly perfect. - That was before my husband’s illness turned our life upside down.

I'm very grateful for that, the children too. His illness isn't life-threatening. An eye disease destroyed his eyesight.

And thanks for posting the photos on the other thread - they look great.

Ohhhhhh, awesome!! I love it. Wow, Written in the Stars is really perfect for a bookshop; when you're there, you'll always have your WitS about you. 😁 See? It always pays to be a flexible thinker: you took "in the stars" and added "written" (so great for your purpose I can't even stand it) and when you had said you needed a word, I added a couple! So THAT is what your word search was about! I like it! thekindercarebear (C/F/M)

I think it's cool that thekindercarebear (C/F/M) started his I need a word thread without saying why; nothing will give you creative block like narrowing the goal. It's like a moment from a 90s movie called The Zero Effect, something like: If you're looking for something, odds of finding it are bad but if you're looking for anything, your odds are pretty good. Now that I've butchered that quote, lol...

I don’t really have many life plans - I just hope to live a very long and healthy life and stay in good physical and mental shape my whole life, and be able to always do the things I enjoy. My life has been difficult at times and I’ve just had to accept that some things aren’t going to turn out like I want them but there is still beauty in life.
