Bassist Algy Ward has died at the age of 63. Ward was a member of the Saints, the Damned and Tank.

Interesting that he started out as Punk and then went Metal. There was a lot of crossover and New Metal took inspiration from Punk but seeing him looking a bit like my older ex-hippy brother (long blonde hair) is funny.
Damn, my generation is beginning to die out.

Damn, my generation is beginning to die out. when punk died a few jumped on the NWOBHM bandwagon, Bernie Torme used to flit between the genres too. |
