Wha? It's less embarrassing to be beaten by Croatia than by France? A narrow defeat to Croatia in the semis is less embarrassing than being humiliated by France in the final. People need to remind themselves that England aren't actually that good. I understand. 4th best in the world at worst is pretty poor. Henderson can't even act as well as Ronaldo. |

Agreed. @hux , is a pansy. Except Belgium who already beat us. And France because they're much much better. Belgium reserves beat our reserves. |

They have the better individual players and would be favourites, but with a decent game strategy and a bit of luck, who knows in a one off game. France are favourites to take them out anyway, and France have been much less consistent. Although France are favourites to win the whole thing I'd much rather play them than Belgium if we reach the final. We are also more of a danger from set pieces than anyone else (just a pity we are shite in open play) |
