Or about the same? How come there are more American Indians in South American countries than in the USA and Canada?

Smallpox and other European diseases brought by the Spanish killed as many as 95% of the native population in North and South America, making the Spanish indirectly responsible for the deaths of close to the entire population of both continents.

About the same. The Latin Americans don’t have the lingering racial issues though. The Spanish didn’t have any Manifest Destiny to totally colonize every square foot with European settlers like Anglos in North America.

How big were the individual populations before Europeans decided to come over and rearrange the furniture?

Well, the Spanish were certainly less brutal than the Mayans and Aztecs who cut out people's hearts and sacrificed them to their Gods.

And if you don't think Latin America has racial issues, you're an idiot.

And the Aztecs and Mayans were certainly less brutal than the Europeans during the dark ages with their torture chambers where they tortured people for shits and giggles.

If you’re in tizzy about them coming here, then imagine how the Native Americans felt and my people didn’t even do the hard work for them.

Yes. In fact, the Spanish crown declared all of the tribes within the Empire Spanish citizens so whenever a local governor wanted to shake them for gold he'd have to be very inventive.
