She was there for this photo shoot and for all the others. She didn't see a problem. Perhaps even the kid picked it out himself to wear for the shoot because he liked it over the other options. The way people get outraged to push an agenda is in itself outrageous. The slogan also had a positive term there; 'coolest'. Another positive is that is a black kid there to model. But no, let's just spin everything around to make it racist and blacks are somehow being oppressed. www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-5257715/Mother-H-M-race-row-child-model-speaks-out.html

It's like the guy who was announcing a Venus Williams tennis match and described her using "guerrilla tactics" and got the boot from ESPN for being so racist. Anyone who hears that and immediately thinks "He's saying she's a gorilla because she's black!" and then pretends to get the vapors is the actual racist in the mix.

Obviously the term can be used as a racial insult or playful term of endearment. It all depends on the context. If we're talking about it being on children's clothing that their parents will presumably be the ones to buy I think we can go with it's meant to be a playful term of endearment.

They can't think along those terms because then it wouldn't be racist and it has to be to push their agenda of the downtrodden black folk.
