That’s kind of my point. Compared with the other teen actresses of 80s, I’m surprised her career didn’t take off, like some of the others in that era. |

That’s kind of my point. Compared with the other teen actresses of 80s, I’m surprised her career didn’t take off, like some of the others in that era. Didn't she retire or back off from acting shortly after Fast Times? She married Kevin Kline and I thought I had read that she just became a wife and mother.

Her career sure did stall…. She chose a different one than Hollywood. Last I heard she was owning (running?) a top-shelf clothing boutique in Beverly Hills, and is happier for it. |
